The 358 Security Fence
358 mesh (also called prison mesh or anti-climb fence) deserves special attention as the highest-security welded mesh fencing option. The designation refers to its specification: 3 inch × 0.5 inch mesh openings (76 mm × 12.5 mm) with 8 gauge (4.0 mm) wire. Powder-Coated over Galvanized
The premium finish for welded mesh fencing: hot-dip galvanized wire is then coated with polyester powder applied electrostatically and oven-cured at 180–200°C. This dual-coating system provides both the corrosion protection of galvanizing and the aesthetic, UV-resistant color finish of powder coating. Installation Guidelines
- Post spacing: Match panel width — typically 2.5 m or 2.0 m centers. Do not exceed panel width.
